How will YOU vote?

I’ve got a lot of ideas rolling around in my head that I want to implement here on The Stolen Colon. Redesigning, new series, guest bloggers, so much that I want to do!!

I’m slowly, but surely I’m figuring things out. I’m pretty sure I’m going to invest in some of the Adobe Creative Suite programs. I’m currently working with the trial versions and figuring out which applications I’d like to continue working with. It’s been a little frustrating because you have to be very precise in a lot of these programs, and this monstrosity of a cast on my arm makes it pretty difficult. Regardless, I’ll be excited to show you what I’m working on in the coming weeks.

But for now, I could use your input. I’ve told you before that I’ve been thinking of where I want to go with this blog. So I’ve decided that I want to start of series of posts that discuss dealing with normal day-to-day life with an ostomy. I basically want to write openly and honestly about what it’s like to do the things you do everyday, but with an ostomy. I’ve been trying to come up with a good title for the series and this is what I’ve come up with…

If you have any other ideas, post them in the comments! I’ll reveal the new series title soon. Let the voting commence!!

I’m not sure about the best title of the series, but I hope you can get the entire Adobe Creative Suite. I started using Adobe Photoshop back at version ONE (when the planet was still cooling and dinosaurs roamed the earth). I became an “Adobe Certified Expert” in Photoshop about ten years ago. It seems like when I am not out riding on my bike I am stuck in one Adobe program or another. Good luck!

I really hope I can, too. I downloaded the full CS6 for the trial and I’ve really been enjoying it. I’m mostly using Photoshop and Illustrator right now, but would like to get into the rest of it, too. But since I think I’ll really use both of those a lot, it seems silly to not upgrade to the full package. We’ll see. I’m saving up!

If you only buy ONE Adobe product, get Photoshop. Maybe shop with 3rd parties for a license to one version below the current; you’ll save money and you won’t be missing out on a whole lot of features. In the meantime, for something free, you can start with GIMP. Photoshop is superior but GIMP is free and has many of the same core features. Great way to start.

Thanks, Adam. I definitely think that if I’m going to go with 1, it’ll be Photoshop, but I really want the whole group. But maybe once my trial is up, I’ll use GIMP to get me by while I save up. Hmm…
