A non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. CCFA has great information on their site for people affect by IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease). They hold a number of fundraisers throughout the year such as the Take Steps Walk or the Team Challenge half-marathon training program.
United Ostomy Association of America
The UOAA is a national network that provides support, information and advocacy to ostomates. They have lots of information on their site about ostomies and support groups in areas around the country.
The Great Bowel Movement
An awareness movement supporting people with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, j-pouches and ostomies. They also sell a line of “Ask Me” t-shirts to help initiate conversation and spread awareness.
